By creating an account, accessing, or using VAssess, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. User Eligibility

• • Individual students must be at least 13 years of age to register
• • Students under 18 must have parental consent
• • Institution registrations must be completed by authorized administrators
• • All information provided during registration must be accurate and truthful

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• • Keep your password secure and do not share it with others
• • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• • You are responsible for all content and activity on your account
• • Only one active session is allowed per account at a time

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Pricing and Fees

• • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable taxes
• • 18% GST (9% CGST + 9% SGST) will be added at checkout
• • Prices are subject to change with prior notice

4.2 Payment Processing

• • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• • We do not store your complete credit/debit card information
• • All transactions are encrypted and secure

4.3 Refund Policy

• • Individual packages: 7-day money-back guarantee from purchase date
• • Refunds are not available if significant content has been accessed
• • Refund processing may take 7-10 business days

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on VAssess, including but not limited to questions, study materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of VAssess or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without authorization
• • Screenshots and screen recordings are prohibited
• • Sharing account credentials with others is strictly forbidden
• • Commercial use of our content is not permitted

6. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• • Upload malicious code or viruses
• • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• • Impersonate any person or entity
• • Circumvent any security features of the platform

7. Test Proctoring

Certain tests on VAssess may have proctoring enabled to ensure assessment integrity.

7.1 What Proctoring Monitors

• • Tab switching and window focus changes
• • Fullscreen mode compliance
• • Copy, paste, and right-click attempts
• • Browser and device information during the test

7.2 What Proctoring Does NOT Do

• • Does not access your webcam or microphone
• • Does not record your screen
• • Does not install any software on your device
• • Does not access files or applications outside the browser

7.3 Consent and Opt-In

• • You will be informed before starting any proctored test
• • Institution students: proctoring is configured by the institution administrator or teacher
• • Individual students: you may opt-in to proctoring for a "Verified" badge on your results
• • Activity data is reviewed only by authorized teachers and administrators
• • Excessive violations may result in the test being auto-submitted or flagged for review

8. Service Availability

• • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with notice
• • No refunds for temporary service interruptions

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service.

• • Violation of terms may result in immediate account suspension
• • Users can request account deletion at any time
• • Upon termination, access to all services will cease
• • No refunds for terminated accounts due to policy violations

10. Limitation of Liability

VAssess is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Warangal, Telangana, India.
